Motorcycle Theft Prevention

We are reminding motorcycle owners to remain vigilant and take steps to keep their bikes secure.

Motorcycles can be attractive targets for thieves, but using multiple security measures can make your bike much harder to steal.

🔒 Help protect your motorcycle:

• Use a good-quality disc lock and heavy-duty chain.

• Secure the bike to an immovable object or ground anchor where possible.

• Never rely on the steering lock alone.

• Consider fitting an alarm, immobiliser or GPS tracker.

• Use a motorcycle cover to keep the bike out of sight.

• Park in a secure, well-lit location where possible.

• If you have a garage or shed, use it and ensure it is securely locked.

• Always remove your keys and keep spare keys somewhere secure.
